The official 30A Farmers’ Market is every Sunday throughout the summer in Rosemary Beach, including several June dates. Vendors will also be selling fresh eggs, milk, cream butter, cheese, grass-fed beef, chicken, and much more. The market is Sundays 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. June dates are June 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30. Other towns, including Seaside and Gulf Place, hold farmers’ markets as well. June dates for all farmers’ markets are posted on the 30A website events calendar.

Adventures in Alys

The REP Theatre provides exciting storytelling in Alys Beach for the summer season, including dates throughout June. Select dates include storytelling and other dates include fun and silly improv. The event is free and takes place at the Alys Beach Amphitheatre. Storytelling events are Mondays and Thursdays, and improv events are Wednesdays. All 30A events start at 10 a.m.

Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic

Anglers of the group may want to slip away from the 30A fun and head to Sandestin. That’s the official location of the event that draws anglers from all over the world. The event takes place during the peak blue marlin season off the Gulf Coast. Not only will there be fishing and competition, but there will also be family-friendly events like live entertainment and other activities leading up to the Big Weigh-In.

The five-day annual event takes place June 19-23, 2024. Daily weigh-ins, including the Big Weigh-In, are open to the public and take places at the scales of Baytowne Marina on Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

Here Comes the Sun Summer Concert Series

Set up your chairs and blankets and bring along your cooler full of snacks and drinks. Mondays in June are full of entertaining musical performances in Rosemary Beach. Each performance is unique, with a different theme and performers. June 2024 dates are June 3, 10, 17, and 24.

Kids Improv Boot Camp

If the kids liked the Adventures in Alys, they can learn improv themselves. The REP in Seaside offers a summer improv boot camp for kids ages 5-12. They’ll learn how to perform and share stories, as well as the craft of storytelling and theatre arts. The kids will learn the basics through workshops, teamwork exercises, and interactive games. At the end of the week, they get to show off their new skills at Friday Friends and Finale showcases.

Advanced registration on the REP website is required. Classes take place Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2-3:30 p.m. The class fee is $25/session. The showcases take place Fridays at 2 p.m. with free admission. Participants do not need to perform in the Friday shows to take part in the boot camp.

Wine & Song

Throughout the month of June in Alys Beach, you can enjoy fun, wine, music, and more. Head to NEAT in Alys Beach each Tuesday in June for tableside wine tasting, live music, and more. The event is 6-8 p.m. each evening and includes four different wines. Wines are posted every Tuesday on the restaurant’s Facebook page and Instagram account. June dates are June 4, 11, 18, and 25.

Alys Beach Summer Concert Series

Summer is the season of concerts along 30A. Each Wednesday in June, Alys Beach will be hosting concerts at its amphitheatre. Each concert spotlights a new band or style of music. June dates are June 5, 12, 19, and 26. Concerts are 6-8 p.m. Check the Alys Beach website event calendar to see who’s playing.

Farmers Markets

Each of the beautiful beach towns along 30A celebrates summer with a farmers market. Each runs on its own schedule, but they all include an array of homemade or locally-made art, crafts, fresh produce, and more. Check the calendar of each town, but these events run throughout the summer and into the fall, meaning you’re likely to be able to attend at least one during your trip, if not more!

Summer Concert Series

The towns along 30A host summer concert series events throughout July and August featuring all sorts of music styles from jazz and blues to bluegrass and more unique offerings like “arcade sounds” and more. Check each town’s schedule of events to find your favorites and make sure they’re part of your 30A summer activity itinerary.

Junior Summer Golf Camp

If some of the adults in the group are golfers, and the kids want to join them on the course, first they’ll likely need some lessons. Baytowne Golf Club, part of the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, offers regular lessons at their golf academy for all ages, a junior golf program that caters to kids 17 and under. A special summer golf camp for the kids at the Raven caters to kids aged 7-13. Classes are from 8:30-11 a.m., and the remaining dates are July 11-13 and July 24-26. Drinks, snacks, and all golf equipment will be provided. Only 15 spots per camp are available, so contact the course to make your reservation soon!

Summer Movie Series

Just like live music, the towns along 30A celebrate cinema in the summer, too! Some offer showings of some of the most popular films, along with classics the whole family will enjoy. Each town hosts the event on different schedules, so make sure to find your favorite movies and make them a part of your summer visit. Offerings include the 2016 Pete’s Dragon, 2019’s Lady & the Tramp, and others.

All American Thursday

The series at HarborWalk Village and the Destin Harbor runs June 1 – August 10 and is a can’t-miss to add to your summer event schedule. The vintage airshow is a tribute to our heroes and is accompanied by other events like live music, fireworks, and a fire-spinning show. Parking is $20. The event runs 6:30-9 pm each night.

Baytowne Art and Food Fest

A fun and delicious way to wrap up summer takes place at the Village of Baytowne Wharf Labor Day weekend. Spend the day strolling the village streets, browse a variety of art pieces from local and regional artists, and best of all – enjoy delicious food! Participating restaurants as well as local food trucks will be offering some of their most delicious offerings during the event. Along with the food and art, you’ll enjoy live music throughout the event each day. The festival ends with a bang and a fireworks spectacular over the town lagoon on Sunday at 9:30 pm.

Boomin’ Tuesdays

It’s not just the 4^th of July that’s celebrated with fireworks and fun. The Village of Baytowne Wharf lights up the sky each Tuesday throughout the summer with Boomin’ Tuesday. As the sun sinks below the waters of the Gulf, turn your eyes skyward as the night lights up. Fireworks shows start at 9:15 pm over the lagoon. Come early and dance to the tunes spun by DJ Mike Whitty at the DJ Dance Party in the Events Plaza starting at 7:15 pm.

Adventures in Alys

Throughout the summer, the REP Theatre takes the stage at the Alys Beach Amphitheatre for a fun storytelling experience. Mondays at 10 am, actors perform improvised stories based on audience suggestions. The show at 10 am on Wednesdays is the Alys Improv Hour featuring unscripted, interactive, improv games for the whole family. Best of all – the event is free!

There is also a small deck with an outdoor shower and a place to hang wet beach towels or other outdoor gear. The second floor boasts a balcony with Adirondack-style seating and a cozy porch swing off the front of the home. The top floor of the home features an observation tower with bar seating.

Interior Amenities

Step inside the home to a small foyer where you can set your things aside. There is also a cozy half bathroom. Straight ahead you’ll find the open great room. Take a seat on the cozy chairs or couch, warm yourself by the fire, watch a favorite movie or TV show on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV, or simply admire the dark wood beams of the ceiling. At mealtime, head to the fully equipped kitchen. Spacious counters, including a kitchen island with seating for two, join stainless steel appliances and a number of cabinets and drawers holding everything you need to prepare and serve a home-cooked meal. Enjoy the meal at the long, rectangular table that seats everyone! You’ll also find the laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer on this level. Destin Harbor July 4^th Fireworks

While Destin shoots off fireworks all summer long on Thursday nights from a barge between Harborwalk Village and the West Jetties Beach, the best show is sure to be on the 4^th of July. Pack up your beach gear and your group and head to Destin Harbor to watch the show that is set off from West Jetties Beach. An insider tip: the 15-minute show is best viewed from Norriego Point or the boardwalk. Parking is limited, so you’re advised to arrive early to claim your spot.

Red, White, and Baytowne

Plan to spend some time at Baytowne Wharf, and make sure to schedule it on the 4^th so you can take part in the ultimate 4^th of July party. The Red, White, and Baytowne event includes live music, face painting, crafts, balloon sculpting, and much more. There are concerts on the main stage all day long for your enjoyment. The event is from 6 to 9:15 p.m. and is capped by a fireworks display.

Village of Baytowne Wharf 4th of July Fireworks

After you’ve spent some time at the town’s Red, White, and Baytowne celebration, turn your attention skyward. The Baytowne 4^th of July Fireworks, set to a music soundtrack, ends the evening with a patriotic bang. The show is over the water between the Village and Baytowne Marina, and the soundtrack can be heard throughout the Village. The giant American Flag over the lagoon adds to the patriotic feel. Shorter shows take place on Tuesdays throughout the summer.

Sandestin Hilton July 4^th Fireworks

Keep your eyes fixed on the Gulf of Mexico for this light extravaganza. The show is billed as the only one in the area to be set off directly on the Gulf of Mexico beach, making it one-of-a-kind and a don’t-miss experience. The show lasts about ten minutes and is visible from anywhere on the surrounding beaches, and you can even get near the launch spot. The show starts at 9 p.m.

Stars & Stripes Spectacular Concert July 3^rd

Head to Seaside for a live concert on the Amphitheater stage. The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra will be playing some favorite patriotic songs, along with familiar tunes from some of the biggest films in history. Lawn seating is limited, so you’ll want to arrive early enough to claim your spot for the 7:30 p.m. concert on July 3^rd.

Seaside Stars & Stripes Spectacular Fireworks

Once the last note from the pops concert that precedes it fades away, the town of Seaside lights up the sky over the Gulf of Mexico. The show starts directly after the concert. If you attended the concert, your seats near the Seaside Amphitheater are some of the best in the house. You can also choose to relax in the sand or dip your toes in the water while you watch from virtually anywhere on the beach in Seaside.

Fort Walton Beach July 4^th Fireworks

Head to Fort Walton Beach for another great fireworks show. You can view the spectacular shower of light anywhere along the water downtown in Fort Walton Beach Landing to enjoy the show that celebrates independence. Fireworks are shot off from a barge over the Santa Rosa Sound starting at 8:45 p.m. on July 4^th.

Parades

Many of the towns along 30A are hosting 4^th of July parades to go along with all the other Independence Day fun and frivolity.  South Walton hosts a 4^th of July parade starting at 8 a.m., heads down 30A and ends in Seaside. The Grayton Beach Old Fashioned 4^th of July Parade also kicks off at 8 a.m. Watch as participants parade by on foot, golf cart, jeep, boats, floats, and more. That parade kicks off at the Red Bar.

Baytowne Memorial Day Weekend Celebration

The Village of Baytowne Wharf is celebrating with style with two nights of family-friendly events. Start the fun Saturday, May 27, 2023, with a concert featuring the Forrest Williams Band and Pherrel Williams performing a variety of music ranging from southern rock to country to blues from 7-9 p.m. On Sunday, May 28, 2023, bring the kids for more live music, plus activities just for them, and a fireworks show. Kids will love face painting, balloon animals, and lawn games, and everyone will love the live music performed by the Trest Richerson Band. After the band plays the last note, Baytowne Wharf will light up the sky above the lagoon with a patriotic fireworks show. The event takes place 7-9 p.m.
