Celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Mountainfilm on Tour in WaterColor, Florida

Celebrate 25 years of Mountainfilm on Tour in WaterColor, Florida, with a captivating lineup of adventure-filled, culturally rich, and engaging documentary short films. This year’s festival takes place on November 7 & 8 at the WaterColor Marina Park Amphitheater in South Walton. Gates open at 6 PM, with films beginning at 7 PM. This year, VIP ticket holders can kick off the festivities with an exclusive 1-hour Anniversary Celebration Reception, complete with live music, drinks, light hors d’oeuvres, and a commemorative gift, setting the perfect tone for a weekend of inspiring films.

 

 

During each evening’s program, a presenter will guide the audience through the films, providing insight into the filmmakers and their stories. A 15-minute intermission allows attendees to stretch and enjoy refreshments from the curated selection of wine, beer, liquor, and event fare available for purchase.

 

What You Need to Know Before Attending

Seating: Bring a blanket or low-back chair (chair backs must not exceed 30 inches). VIP ticketholders and Premier Sponsors may set up chairs before gates open at 6 PM.

Family-Friendly: Children ages 8 and under attend free; ages 9+ require a ticket. Films may include adult language or loud sounds, so parental discretion is advised.

Parking & Access: Limited parking; guests should use Van Ness Butler Jr. Regional Beach Access. Restrooms are located at the nearby Marina Park Pool.

Exterior Features

Arrive at the home and take in its three stories of grandeur. The first floor boasts a spacious front porch with seating and a grand entrance to the home. The second level also hosts a covered balcony with plenty of seating for watching the goings-on of the neighborhood. In the back courtyard area, there’s a first-floor covered deck featuring outdoor living furnishings, rocking chairs, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. If you need a dip without packing up for the beach, the home has a private pool and spillover spa. Water features in the pool surround built-in chairs on a small underwater sun deck. The pool deck boasts even more seating! The second-floor balcony is outfitted with seating and ceiling fans and is accessed by stairs near the pool or from bedrooms. Another outdoor area boasts a brick wood-burning fireplace that offers extra light and warmth while you watch a movie or show on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV or cook up an al fresco meal in the outdoor kitchen with built-in BBQ grill and bar seating. An upper-level covered patio features outdoor living seating, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and plenty of natural light.

Interior Amenities

Step inside to an open, airy great room full of light colors and modern furnishings. Wood floors run throughout the entire home, including bedrooms. A cozy sitting area hosts comfortable couches and chairs and plenty of comforts. The living space adds a fireplace, built-in shelving, cool beach-colored chairs, and a wraparound couch. Ship lap surrounds the great room and wood beams run through the sitting area and living room. Open the accordion-style sliding doors and experience true indoor/outdoor Florida living. The fully equipped kitchen hosts everything you need for a home-cooked meal. Custom cabinetry holds all the cookware and supplies and blends larger appliances like the fridge and freezer into the room for a uniform feel. The spacious kitchen island offers prep space and seating for seven! Double ovens and a pot filler make group meals a breeze, and the dining area easily seats 12. A sunroom offers extra natural light while you gather on the wraparound couch for a movie or show on the wall-mounted flat-screen TV. Find your way to the media room with a wraparound couch, flat-screen TV, and storage for movies and other activities. There is a ¾ bath with a frameless glass shower and single-sink vanity off the living area. Easily do laundry in either of the two spacious laundry rooms featuring two sets of stacked washers and dryers, a folding area, and a utility sink.

There are three bedrooms on the first floor, including the master and two guest rooms. The master boasts a king bed, night tables, a sitting area, a tray ceiling, and an en suite bath. The full bath features a stand-alone soaking tub, a massive frameless glass shower with multiple shower heads, two vanities with sinks, and a makeup table with a chair and mirror. The second and third bedrooms each host a king bed, night tables, and dresser, and have access to the balcony. The second bedroom boasts an en suite with a tub/shower combo and single-sink vanity. The en suite in the third bedroom features a frameless glass shower and single-sink vanity. The fourth bedroom hosts a four-poster king bed, a sitting area with a comfy chair and love seat and access to the balcony, and an en suite bath with a frameless glass shower stall and single sink vanity. The final bedroom in the main home is on the third floor and boasts four sets of full-size built-in bunk beds – perfect for kids to share! The fourth and fifth bedrooms share two hall baths that boast shower stalls and single-sink vanities.

The carriage house is a whole house of its own! It boasts a modern kitchen with the appliances you need for home-cooked meals. The dining area has a bistro table for two, and the living space hosts a comfortable couch, a myriad of windows for natural light, and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The bedroom boasts a king bed and wall-mounted side shelves and lights. The bathroom features an elegantly tiled frameless glass shower and single-sink vanity.
